Stateline Island
is a unit of the North Platte National Wildlife Refuge
and is the only one that is open year around. It is
located south of Henry Nebraska on the Nebraska Wyoming
border. The refuge parking lot is just south of the
North Platte River bridge on the east side of Holloway
Road.
This refuge has access to the North Platte River to the
north and Centennial Creek to the south. There are
hiking trails on both sides of the road. On the
west you can hike to the Wyoming Line. |
